HF1218-12M Lens Overview
Fujinon's HF1218-12M 2/3" 12.30mm 12MP Machine Vision Lens is a C-mount lens for 2/3" (see Sensor Compatibility below for larger sensors) and smaller sensors, and it is designed specifically for machine vision applications. This lens is designed for producing images on sensors up to 12MP, and features locking manual focus and iris rings for use in tough environments such as robot mounted applications. The lens can focus from distances down to 100mm (~4")

4D High Resolution
4DHR technology maintains highly consistent image sharpness from the center of the image out to the edges, while minimizing degradation of resolution caused by changes in the shooting distance or aperture. This technology delivers consistent high-resolution images under a wide variety of setups and environments.
Optimal Design for Compact Form Factor Cameras
Despite being high-resolution lenses, the HF-12M series lenses are excellent for use with compact form factor machine vision cameras. All HF-12M lenses have a φ33mm diameter
Super High Resolution of 2.1 μm
When the iris (aperture) is set at the orange F4 marker on the lens barrel, the HF-12M series delivers the resolving power greater than 2.1µm pixel pitch on a 2/3-inch sensor (equivalent to 12 megapixels)
Low distortion
Fujinon's high-precision aspherical glass molded lens enables downsizing and low distortion. (Image is simulated).
Compact Lens Form Factor with Multiple Locking Holes
For easy installation and high reliability, the diameter all HF-12M lenses are only 33mm, despite being high-resolution lenses. This allows easy installations in environments with space constraints such as inside enclosures. FUJINON HF-12M series lenses also comes with three locking holes each the iris as well as the focus. They are located on the lens barrels, allowing for vibration resistance while allowing adjustability in constrained spaces.
