CF35ZA-1S Lens Overview

Fujinon's CF35ZA-1S 1.1" 34.78mm 23MP Machine Vision Lens is a C-mount lens for 1.1"  and smaller sensors, and it is designed specifically for machine vision applications. This lens is designed for producing images on sensors up to 23MP, and features locking manual focus and iris rings for use in tough environments such as robot mounted applications. The lens can focus from distances down to 200mm (~8)

In general, the illumination of the outer area of an image is determined by factors of "relative illumination" and "chief ray angle (CRA)". CF-ZA-1S series lenses adopt Fujifilm's (Fujinon) proprietary optical design which provides relative illumination of up to 90%+*, supports 1.1" format sensor and restrains CRA below 5°. Because the two are relatively balanced to each other, a clear and bright image can be obtained from the peripheral regions of an image.

As a result, a high-quality image with low noise can be obtained, which becomes very valuable to inspection requiring higher reliability.

4D High Resolution

Machine Vision Camera Lenses typically have problematic performance degradation of resolution when the focal position or aperture (f-number) are changed. The Fujinon CF-ZA-1S lens family features High Performace "4D HR" technology to minimize the effects of this degradation.

4DHR technology maintains highly consistent image sharpness from the center of the image out to the edges, while minimizing degradation of resolution caused by changes in the shooting distance or aperture. This technology delivers consistent high-resolution images under a wide variety of setups and environments.

Optimal Design for Compact Form Factor Cameras

Despite being high-resolution lenses, the CF-ZA-1S series lenses are excellent for use with compact form factor machine vision cameras.

Compact Lens Form Factor with Multiple Locking Holes

For easy installation and high reliability, the diameter all CF-ZA lenses are only 39mm (except CF8ZA-1S, Dia 54), despite being high-resolution lenses. This allows easy installations in environments with space constraints such as inside enclosures. FUJINON CF-ZA series lenses also come with three locking holes each for both the iris as well as for the focus. They are located on the lens barrels, allowing for vibration resistance while allowing adjustability in constrained spaces.
