Polarizing Films

Polarizing Film
- Reduces glare from light reflected off of specular surfaces
- When used in pairs, placing one piece over another and rotating one against the other, a “light valve” or variable neutral density filter is created.
- Check stress patterns in transparent glass and plastic
- Best results are achieved when polarizing film is used over the light source in conjunction with a polarizing filter over the camera lens
- Can be cut, drilled and formed to fit almost any type of lighting equipment

PS Series: Visible Linear Polarizing Film
These films are used for linear polarization between 400 and 700nm. Thicknesses range from 0.18mm (0.007") to 0.76mm (0.03".)
- Used with PR032 Linear Polarizer
- Useful Range: 400nm - 700nm

HT Series: High Temperature Visible Linear Polarizing Film
These films are resistant to high temperature illumination. It solves the temperature sensitivity issues that are common with standard polarizing films, which typically fail or curl when introduced to high heat for an extended period of time. These films are safe to be mounted on extreamly hot illumination sources. Temperatures range up to 115°C and some durations up to 1000 hours.
- Used with Linear Polarizing Lens Filters such as PR032
- Useful Range: 400nm - 700nm
- Thicknesses from 0.025" to 0.118"
- Contrast Ratio: 5,000:1 to 10,000:1

PG Series: Visible Linear Glass Polarizing Sheet
This anti-reflection 3mm thick coated glass polarizer sheet has an extended polarization efficiency, is abrasion and solvent resistant and can withstand higher temperatures than typical film.
- Visible Light Linear Polarizing
- Useful Range: 400nm - 700nm
- Thickness: 3mm (0.118")
- Contrast Ratio: 10,000:1

PC Series: Circular Polarizing Film
PC Series Circular Polarizing Film consists of a linear polarizer combined with a quarter wave retarder, left or right, to rotate the plane of the polarization 90°. As light passes through circular polarizing film it is converted to circularly polarized light.
