The MidOpt LB080 is used to raise lower color temperatures (by 80 mired) by highlighting a higher percentage of the red component of the spectrum, to create more natural-looking color. It is sometimes used with fiber optic lighting. All MidOpt filters can also be purchased unmounted and in custom dimensions upon request from Machine Vision Direct.
