MidOpt Bi905-77 Narrow Bandwidth Interference NIR Bandpass Filter

Bi905 NIR Interference Bandpass filters are recommended for use with 905nm IR diode lasers or diode laser module lighting. 905nm is the wavelength of choice for many autonomous vehicle/driver assistance lidar system manufacturers. It is also commonly used in hand-held laser rangefinder applications, laser speed detectors, surveying equipment, cloud ceilometers, proximity fuses, safety curtains, laser therapy devices, and weapons simulation.

905nm bandpass filters are often necessary for reducing unwanted noise from sunlight and other ambient light sources, significantly reducing errors by vastly improving signal-to-noise ratios. These single-substrate, hard-coated filters block all UV, visible, and NIR wavelengths outside the desired 905nm passband.
