Used with black-and-white cameras to aid in increasing contrast and resolution, LP515 filters block blue and UV wavelengths and pass all other visible and near infrared light. To block longer wavelengths – including infrared light – see the BP535 bandpass filter. Longer wavelengths can have adverse affects when trying to separate subject matter.
